ABOUT CCTI |
Caritas
Counselling and Training Institute (CCTI) which is in transition of name to St. Anthony Counselling, Training and
Skills Development Institute (SACTSDI)
was founded in 2004 as a programme under the Psychosocial Department of
Caritas Gulu Archdiocese in Northern Uganda. The programme later evolved into
a semi-autonomous Institute under the Education Commission of Gulu
Archdiocese. The Institute
was licensed on 11thMarch 2013 by the National Council for Higher
Education (Reg. No. PLTI 0060) to operate as a private Tertiary Institution.
The founding of the programme was in response to the immense human and
infrastructural destruction at the hands of the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA)
who waged two-decade long armed struggle against the Government of Uganda. |
