We strive to understand and give priority to our clients’ needs, to account to them and to treat them with dignity, social justice and equity.
The strength of the Institute is seen in the quality of the trainees and their various supports especially in the post conflict war recovery of Northern Uganda.
We will strive to provide the best quality of services and to demonstrate integrity in all our actions, to manage time and to show mutual and self-respect.
We envision, "a peaceful community where men, women and children are mentally, socially and economically healthy."
The Institute is having a Library with more than one thousand books on Counselling, Psychology Psychiatry, Sociology, Substance Abuse, HIV/AIDS, Family etc. However, the library and classroom space at SACTSDI may not accommodate the increasing number of students and clients. We are working on establishing internet connection for e-based research.
All these gave the opportunities to the Institute to successfully carry out Counselling activities and community outreaches.
